Efecto	La α-arbutina tiene un buen efecto terapéutico sobre las cicatrices causadas por quemaduras ultravioleta y tiene buenos efectos antiinflamatorios, reparadores y blanqueadores. Puede inhibir la producción y depósito de melanina, eliminar la pigmentación y las pecas.
